Following the significant milestones achieved in our "Researcher's Update," the Gematria Calculator has now undergone a major architectural evolution. Today, I'm thrilled to announce the release of Gematria Calculator v1.2.1 — "The Web & Privacy Pivot"!

Powering Up: The Migration to PHP 8.4

To support more advanced features and deeper analysis tools, we've moved beyond static hosting. The entire platform has been migrated to a high-performance PHP 8.4 engine on cPanel-managed infrastructure:

  • Server-Side Logic: The foundation is now ready for future database integrations and complex server-side utilities.
  • Clean URL Routing: We've implemented advanced Apache rewriting to provide a cleaner, more professional navigation experience (e.g., /about, /contact) without file extensions.
  • Enterprise Hosting: Now hosted at gematria-calculator.jasonbrain.com with enforced SSL and optimized caching for lightning-fast load times.

Connecting Better: Native Contact System

Communication is key to research. We've introduced a fully integrated Native Contact Form that matches our premium glassmorphic aesthetic. It’s built entirely with PHP 8.4, features server-side validation, and ensures your feedback arrives safely with organized subject prefixing.

Refining the Interface: Design System v2.0

Consistency is everything in a precision tool. In v1.2.1, we've overhauled our UI component standards:

  • Standardized Buttons: Every button and link now shares a unified, high-fidelity design with 8px rounded corners and premium hover micro-interactions (lift + depth shadows).
  • Layout Stability: A new flex-based sticky footer ensures the page feels solid and complete, even on screens with minimal content.
  • Balanced Navigation: The "Scroll to Top" button has been centered for a more symmetrical and intuitive mobile experience.
  • Version Transparency: We've introduced a centralized versioning system. You can now find the exact project version and last-updated date in the site-wide footer and on the About page.

A Private Path Forward

As this project matures into a specialized research platform, we have transitioned the repository to Private status and implemented a proprietary license. This move allows us to focus on tailored research features and internal development standards while protecting the project's unique intellectual property.
